The google talk client has the ability to show currently playing songs in a wide range of players - winamp, windows media, real, etc.
If it is possible to expose whatever google talk is looking for in xamp, that would be fantastic.
However, I don't know if gtalk is specifically looking for those players by name, and then just looking at their exposed API.

If possible, integration would be great.
